Salvador Dalí: Visions Surrealiste (Tarot)

Salvador Dalí’s Visions Surrealiste (Tarot) portfolio, created in 1976, reflects his fascination with mysticism and symbolic imagery. The suite consists of four large color lithographs on Arches paper, each signed and numbered in an edition of 150. Dalí approached the Tarot as a subject through his distinct Surrealist lens, transforming traditional archetypes into dreamlike, fantastical visions.

The portfolio was issued with a case and originally exhibited through Bowles and Hopkins Gallery in San Francisco. Today, complete sets remain highly collectible, representing a synthesis of Dalí’s theatrical imagination, his mastery of printmaking, and his enduring interest in the intersection of art, mysticism, and the subconscious.
