Picasso-Losange au masque (A.R. 345)

An original ceramic by Pablo Picasso, produced at the Madoura pottery in Vallauris — one of 350 examples from this edition. Losange au Masque (A.R. 345) presents a diamond-format plaque in chamotted red earthenware clay, its surface animated with Picasso's characteristic mask motif rendered in engobes. The work exemplifies the playful formal invention that defined his ceramic practice from the late 1940s onward, translating the vocabulary of his painted and sculptural work into the tactile language of fired clay.

Editioned in ink on the reverse; bearing both the Madoura and Edition Picasso stamps, guaranteeing authenticity.
